Before you start
Does split mean one file per page?
You can choose. Extract mode makes one PDF with the selected pages; separate mode places each selected page in its own PDF inside a ZIP.
How do page ranges work?
Use page numbers separated by commas, or ascending ranges such as 1, 3-5. Duplicates are removed and your entered order is retained.
Does this change the original?
No. The tool creates a new file. Page dimensions and text are retained, but bookmarks, attachments and some interactive features may not carry across.
Can I extract a password-protected PDF?
No. This tool does not unlock PDFs. Use an unlocked copy that you are allowed to edit.
